High precision grinding and lapping.

The finishing and superfinishing of parts and tools are part of the core profession of PSI, specialists in the manufacture of very high-precision ground parts. We can also work solely as sub-contractors for operations which requires specific know-how and equipment (grinding and lapping machines).

VERY HIGH-PRECISION GRINDING

PSI performs contract high-precision grinding and lapping for the industries with the highest levels of demands in terms of surface finishing: aeronautics, medical, nuclear.

Very high-precision grinding (with tolerances to the nearest micron), lapping, polishing:

• Int. and ext. cylindrical grinding,
• Surface grinding,
• Coordinate grinding,
• Cylindrical lapping,

We grind not only steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals such as copper or bronze and their alloys, but also Inconel, titanium, carbide, ceramic, and even certain types of plastic.
